About us
The company began operations in 1990 in the city of Varna, having been founded by Todor Zlatev. He possessed extensive experience gained during the socialist era at major industrial enterprises such as Kremikovtsi and Sodi Devnya. Following the political and economic changes, he established the company and initially worked as a subcontractor for Sodi Devnya before expanding into ship repair. At its peak, the company employed two teams of 25 workers each. During the country's financial collapse in 1997, when major state-owned enterprises faced severe difficulties, the company shifted its focus to the repair and construction of small vessels.
After nearly 30 years of successful operations throughout the Varna region, the family business was taken over in 2018 by Todor’s son, Zlati Zlatev. He had gained extensive experience working for Saipem—one of the world’s leading international companies specializing in the construction of gas pipelines, oil pipelines, refineries, and oil and gas platforms. He worked first as a welder and later as a welding supervisor on pipeline projects across the globe, including in Mexico, Australia, Azerbaijan, and Serbia. Zlati also contributed to major projects such as the TurkStream pipeline in Bulgaria, the Southern Gas Interconnector in Bulgaria, and operations on a pipe-laying vessel in the Caspian Sea. Since 2018, the business has continued to focus on metalwork but has shifted its direction toward the fabrication of a wide range of metal products—including metal doors, fences, metal or wrought-iron awnings, structural frameworks for canopies, metal marquees, and various other metal items.
